Nepal security and payroll software: common questions
Does StrataMax handle Nepal SSF contributions?
Yes. Payroll supports Social Security Fund contribution calculation with employer and employee components derived from attendance-verified wages, and produces the contribution detail needed for filing. Confirm current contribution rates with your accountant each fiscal year, as they are set by regulation and change.
Can it calculate TDS and CIT for Nepali employees?
Yes. Payroll supports TDS withholding and CIT deductions alongside SSF and PF, with configurable slabs and thresholds. Because rates are revised in the annual budget, the slabs should be reviewed at the start of each fiscal year rather than left at last year's values.
Does it support the Nepali calendar for leave and payroll?
Yes. Leave and payroll periods can run on the Bikram Sambat calendar, so months align with the Nepali fiscal year and festival leave around Dashain and Tihar is handled on the calendar staff actually use.
Is StrataMax available in the Nepali language?
Yes. The platform supports English and Nepali, which matters most for the guard-facing Android app — check-in, leave requests and incident reporting are used by staff who may not work comfortably in English.
Can outsourcing companies bill multiple clients from one system?
Yes. Manpower and outsourcing firms deploying staff across many client sites can hold separate rate cards per client and per site, bill from verified deployment hours, and run TA/DA and overtime through maker-checker approval before payment.
